Hello, welcome back to MetaAds Quick Tips. I'm Stacy Covitz, your MetaAds strategist here and I'm here to help you make Facebook and Instagram ads a little less overwhelming.

I will let you in on something. It shouldn't be a big surprise. Facebook has changed again and updated their algorithm.

Now, let me ask you a question. Have you ever wondered if you're doing ads wrong just because you don't know how many creatives to use? And by creatives, that's the actual video or image.

You've got a budget, you've got a great idea, but then you hit that moment where you think, oh my gosh, how many should I create? Three, 10, 20, one? And then you overthink and you mess up before you even start.

What they want now from us is variety. So don't worry, this doesn't mean you need to make 25 different creative ads

I'll keep this simple because it's much simpler than you might think. If your daily budget is small, let's say $20 or less a day,  you only need three ads, three creative. Make them different. So make a video, like a real type video vertical, and you can have a graphic.

and a carousel. So just three.

Why just three? You might ask. Well, with $20 a day, it's not going to take long for Facebook to use all of that ad budget. So if you have too many, it's a little bit harder for them to optimize. Now, those three type of creative are different enough to please Facebook. Some people might like

A real, some people are, you know, on Instagram and that's what they like to consume. Some people can not stand video and they want just a simple image. So, then carousels are great because you can really get a lot of bang for your buck there.

And then of course, after your ads have been running for a while, three to five days, have a look and see which one has optimized and is performing the best.

Once you have a winner, one that is performing better than the rest, add more money to it. And when you do that, start adding more creative and just keep feeding it with new creative.

So, as always, don't overthink it, don't burn yourself out making a dozen graphics and videos. There's enough for you to start strong with three, especially if you're on the smaller budget.
